Job Position: Manual Machinist

Location: Pasadena, TX 77505

M-F

6AM - 3:30 PM with OT

$25-$30/Hr

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to engineering specifications

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining processes

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper function and adjust settings as necessary for optimal performance

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to keep them in good working condition

Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic understanding of machining processes and manual machining equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn

Preferred:

Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment

Technical certifications related to machining or manufacturing

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

Understanding of materials and their properties for machining
