Job Description

Our client is an investment firm who develop exciting industrial development projects in TX. They are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join their investments team following the recent launch of a new fund. This role will primarily support industrial development projects, while also providing exposure to other asset classes, including residential. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to "skin a deal"-working through underwriting, due diligence, and execution with precision.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting and financial modeling for industrial development projects.
• Support due diligence, market research, and risk analysis for acquisitions and development opportunities.
• Prepare investment committee materials and assist in deal presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (brokers, lenders, consultants) throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Contribute to portfolio reporting and investor updates.

While this is not a sourcing role initially, over time, the position offers a clear growth path toward sourcing and origination responsibilities. The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate investment, development, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and deal analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow into a sourcing role over time.
• Exposure to industrial investment/ development transactions in the TX markets is highly preferred.
