Application Scientist – Nanomaterials
Location: Houston, TX - on site
Salary: $100–150k + equity

Are you a nanomaterials expert ready to bridge discovery and application?

Eleven have been retained by a nanomaterials company based in Houston who are looking for a qualified Chemist / Materials Scientist to develop carbon based nanomaterials' applications at scale.

Backed by global clients and strategic capital, we are looking for an early-career scientist to explore new applications—from batteries to coatings to concrete.

You'll:

• Characterise carbon materials (Raman, SEM, XPS, BET, XRD)
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and customers
• Help fast-track commercial use cases for cutting-edge materials

Ideal Profile:

• PhD / MSc in Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering
• Strong carbon research background (graphene/CNOs)
• Skilled in characterisation techniques
• Effective communicator with industry mindset
