A leading company in the hospitality industry is seeking a Door Attendant to manage driveway activity and provide exceptional service to residents and guests. The ideal candidate is a professional, service-oriented individual with a clean driving record and the ability to operate all vehicle types. In this role, the new hire will enhance safety and guest experience by directing traffic, opening doors, and assisting with resident and guest needs while supporting the Concierge with building access and maintaining a polished, welcoming environment.

Salary: $18-23/hr
Location:Houston, TX
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, Tues-Sat or Wed-Sun

Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents and guests, open doors, and provide assistance upon arrival and departure.
  • Manage vehicle flow in the driveway and coordinate parking with the valet team.
  • Safely drive and relocate resident and guest vehicles, including manual transmissions.
  • Maintain awareness of building security and respond appropriately to alarms and emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, management, and staff to support daily operations.
  • Direct deliveries, contractors, and visitors to appropriate entrances or departments.
  • Keep entry areas clean, safe, and organized in coordination with housekeeping.
  • Provide courteous assistance to elderly or disabled individuals as needed.
  • Maintain detailed shift communication and report incidents or concerns to management.
  • Represent the property with a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements:
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean, bondable driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
  • Basic English literacy and comfort with multi-line phone systems
  • High-Rise Fire Safety Training preferred.
