We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Per-Diem Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and necessary documentation during the registration process
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments while coordinating with clinical and business office teams
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding hospital services
• Collect co-pays and patient balances at the time of service, following financial policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards
• Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain clean, organized, and welcoming for patients and visitors
• Support the business office team with administrative tasks as needed

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role required; healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient registration processes a plus
• Experience handling patient insurance, billing inquiries, or payment collections preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or medical office training preferred
