Liaise with procurement to assist in the negotiation of contracts with freight carriers to drive speedy delivery at economical rates. Work collaboratively with leaders across the organization on understanding the voice of the customer in order to effectively execute shipping decisions. Perform escalations as needed to remedy shipping problems. Develop and implement a freight strategy utilizing any number of national and local carriers to provide shorter average transit times at the lowest possible expense.
