Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, intercompany transactions, account allocations and month-end closing activities for several legal entities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Review financial statements produced by outsourced accounting firms for some of the overseas assets
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances between general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Deliver P&L and Balance Sheet analysis for management reporting
- Assist with external audits and respond to auditors' inquiries
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in accounting processes, recommending and implementing solutions
- Support Line Manager with producing and analysis of ad-hoc reports
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Excel, including use of advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, and conditional formatting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and controls.
- Experience with ERP system (NetSuite is a plus).
