The Demand Planning Manager will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a best-in-class, global demand planning function for our growing business. This individual will develop and execute accurate forecasts using data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with seasonal product cycles, constrained inventory environments, and system-based planning, along with a deep understanding of how demand forecasts support strategic growth and financial targets. This is a great opportunity to lead a demand planning team in the future for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate, SKU-level forecasts for a wide range of consumer products across channels (e-commerce, wholesale, corporate sales).
  • Utilize statistical models, historical sales data, and trend analysis to generate and refine demand plans.
  • Identify key demand signals, emerging trends, and risks or opportunities in the forecast; communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align forecasts with business strategy, promotional activity, and new product launches.
  • Provide assortment recommendations for seasonal colors, limited editions, and new product introductions.
  • Support and participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and inventory or production plans.
  • Help shape inventory strategy by balancing forecasted demand with constraints in supply, ensuring high service levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain and optimize planning systems/tools and ensure accurate data translation across planning, merchandising, and allocation functions.
  • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards or other reporting tools to track forecast performance, highlight key KPIs, and support decision-making.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, buying, or sales operations, ideally within consumer goods manufacturing or consumer electronics environments.
  • Deep understanding of seasonality, product lifecycle forecasting, and constrained inventory management.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., xlookups, sumifs, index/match, pivot tables).
  • Proficiency with ERP or other advanced planning systems.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar visualization/reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Known for timely execution, attention to detail, and ability to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external partners.
  • Passion for uncovering “why” behind the data and driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
