Job Details

The purpose of the Maintenance Mechanic III position is to prevent mechanical failure of equipment, to identify and correct safety hazards, and inspect, repair, clean and maintain several types of equipment: pumps, miscellaneous rotating and reciprocating equipment, plumbing equipment (sinks, commodes, urinals, flush valves, and faucets) and machinery throughout the airport complex. This position may be assigned duties at all Houston Airport System facilities including IAH, HOU, and EFD."Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required. Candidates must be able to obtain all security required badge access including Custom Border Patrol access within 6 months from the hire date."The Maintenance Mechanic III duties will include but are not limited to:Installs mechanical equipment and components.
