About the Position

We are seeking an Environmental Discipline Manager and Business Development Lead to build our growing EWR (Environmental and Water Resources) team in either the Denver, CO or Houston, TX office. This role focuses on business development, client account management, and successful project execution. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 15+ years of experience in detailed permitting and regulatory review for various public and private projects. The successful candidate will help grow our EWR team, mentor junior staff, manage projects, and support project managers with client communications. As part of EWR's leadership team, they will interface with clients, pursue opportunities, serve as a thought leader, and help grow Pond's brand.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and invoicing.
  • Mentoring junior staff on ecological surveys, environmental regulations, and career development.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Developing permitting strategies for various project types.
  • Preparing complex regulatory permit packages with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Participating in client and public meetings.
  • Supporting project teams through communication, documentation, and data collection.
