The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the Talent Division and drive the office's people strategy. The CPO will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining top talent to support the Tax Assessor-Collector's mission. The CPO reports to the Chief of Staff and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with leadership to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and highly motivated workforce.
The CPO will lead the Human Resources Division's efforts to foster a committed and service-oriented team, supporting the office's mission and ensuring that employees are developed, engaged, and retained.
