Position Summary: A Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional is an individual that will give QA/QC technical and quality assistant support to Wilmar Oleo North America LLC. The position will also include assisting in verifying in-house documents and audits, customer interaction, researching regulations and compliance and assisting in documentation maintenance/support.

  • Assist in monitoring FDA and regulatory compliance
  • Work with Commercial and Logistics team to resolve discrepancies in customer complaints and/or quality issues
  • Assist in verifying Terminal Instructions COA/BOL before sending to terminals and auditing (maintaining WONA Score Card) all paperwork after loading, follow up to resolve the issue on timely basis
  • Assist in filling out questionnaires submitted by customers: In charge of coordination and follow up with Supply Chain Manager and QA Supervisor to fill out questionnaires
  • Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels.
  • Developing and implementing standards for inspection.
  • Developing a workflow for product inspection.
  • Developing plans to help a company manage waste.
  • Communicating with other team members to solve problems.
  • Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found.
  • Training other quality insurance members on all inspection processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the FDA, Food Safety and FSVP Compliance preferred
  • Experience in the HACCP program required
  • Experience in Customer Complaints preferred
  • Experience in Quality Audits preferred
  • Experience in Cosmetics (MoCRA), USDA/Animal Feeds and Pharma Regulations Plus



Language Ability:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a Plus


Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites

Certificates:

  •  FSVP, PCQI and HACCP
