IT Project Manager/Healthcare Data Analytics – Remote

Description:

Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a remote IT Project Manager with experience in healthcare data informatics or data warehousing projects:

  • Prior healthcare or insurance industry experience required
  • A Project Manager, Business Analyst or Data Analyst who has some BI, data informatics, or data warehouse project experience is the ideal candidate
  • This job will NOT require any hands on data work, but will be working on data informatics or data warehousing projects
  • This job is remote and will operate out of the CST zone.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • This job is a 6-12 month contract to hire, paying $40-45/hour w2 during the contract, and converting at $75k to $80k + $14k yearly bonus.
  • Candidates MUST be able to work W2 (NO C2C OR 1099 candidate will be considered)

The Project Manager will be a PM within a Healthcare analytics department and be responsible for analyzing healthcare data related projects to our networks, claims, utilization, precertification, member engagement, cost management and activities supporting the development and implementation of corporate strategies. The Project Manager supports multiple divisions by performing project support as it relates to healthcare utilization and quality, including analytical design, data gathering, analysis, etc. Presentation, communication, time management and organizational skills are critical aspects of the position. Thinking and acting independently, as well as strong analytical problem solving, is important to the success of this position.

Summary of Qualifications

  • 4-8 total years experience in IT preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferably in a quantitative discipline (such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.) or the health sciences (Public Health, Health Administration, etc.) or Computer Sciences required
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing or reporting data sets using tools such as WinSQL, Crystal Reports, Toad, Excel, Advantage Suite, Tableau or WebFOCUS
  • SQL exposure nice to have
  • Tableau exposure nice to have
  • Knowledge in data access, use of database tools, database analysis, primary keys, indexing, and data integrity issues
  • Analytical and technical skills necessary to execute each phase of an analysis including methodological design, data integration, and data visualization
  • Strong, multilateral communication skills that can be utilized to build internal and external business relationships
  • Experience managing multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Problem recognition and problem solving skills
  • Familiar with various products and contracts utilized by companies in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Familiar with healthcare measurement methodologies preferred
  • Statistics and/or mathematics experience preferred
  • Technical writing experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of how a company in the healthcare industry operates and its business relationships, and how these relationships directly impact analytical processes is required
  • Excellent knowledge and competence in project management methodologies preferred
  • Experience leading and working independently as a Project Manager on large-scale corporate projects or initiatives preferred
  • Experience with project management (PM) or Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, along with PM techniques and methodologies preferred
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting preferred
  • Knowledge of multiple Agile delivery frameworks preferred
  • Ability to keep detailed and organized records preferred
  • Solid communication and relationship building skills preferred

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range- $70k to $80k base + $14k bonus incentive expectations.
