Job Title: Quality Manager (Houston & Conroe Locations)


Location: Houston, TX

Quality Manager to lead and manage the quality control technicians across two key locations: Houston and Conroe.


Position Overview: The Quality Manager will oversee all quality control operations at Houston facility. This position is responsible for managing a team of Quality Control Technicians, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to address and resolve any quality-related claims. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in fostering a culture of quality across both locations and ensuring that all workstations comply with internal and external quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage quality control operations across the Houston locations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor the Quality Control Technicians at both locations.
  • Ensure all quality processes and procedures are consistently followed across all workstations.
  • Follow up on all customer quality claims, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Reduction of the customer complaints and the break due quality issues.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer service relationships, providing timely communication and solutions to quality concerns.
  • Analyze data and provide regular reports to upper management on quality performance and key metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control processes and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure that all necessary training is provided to quality control technicians and other relevant staff on quality procedures, tools, and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and quality best practices.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment on quality objectives and to drive product excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the glass or similar industry.
  • Proven experience managing quality control teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and relationship management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
