Key Activities/Responsibilities:
- Build a defect-free water blasting parts and accessories;
- Complete required in-process inspection, repair any defects found;
- Complete final inspection documentation, and test of equipment to insure highest quality for delivery to the end user;
- Follow all procedures and processes provided by engineering in accordance to assembly of unit;
- Document quality information as required to support quality process;
- Ensure any defects found are documented and corrected prior to delivery of unit;
- Build Quality into all products without exception;
- Meet daily/weekly production schedule as determined by scheduler;
- Assemble components and units according to checklists, Bill of Materials, and drawings as applicable;
- Check stock bins for adequate supplies of subassemblies, and parts for scheduled builds;
- Document and complete any necessary paperwork in assigned area;
- Report all non-conforming parts, materials or drawings to manager;
- Resolve assembly problems, troubleshoot malfunctions and defects of final assembly.;
- Report other problems to manager to obtain assistance;
- Cross train team members in assembly operations;
- Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as required.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, required
- Knowledge of hand tools;
- Ability to learn and master new assembly skills;
- Accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to work functions;
- Awareness about safety issues and alertness to avoid any mishap;
- Sensible enough to put on all protective gear whenever necessary
